Day 1

Once transmitted instructions, we will give you the keys of your 2CV car and road guide with all information needed for your stay.

You will drive to the “Medieval City of Carcassonne” where you will dicover freely at your own pace according to your desires this magnificent fortress.

For lunch, we selected for you a traditional regional cuisine in a typical restaurant in the medieval city of Carcasonne. In the afternoon you will go with your 2CV car by charming small roads through the vineyards direction a famous bookvillage “Montolieu”, located at 15km from Carcassonne where you will be warmly welcomed in your Bed and Breakfast.

After your installation, you will prepare your dinner by participating at a cooking class around local and organic products. The cooking class is followed by an interesting wine tasting. Adrien Mould, former director of the AOC Cabardès and passionated by wine has selected for you 5 quality wines!

Overnight in your B&B.

Day 2

After a nice breakfast, you will take your 2CV car direction Minervois and you will drive though a magnificent landscape. Stop for a visit of “Oulibo” in Bize Minervois and discover the unique mill producing olive oil.

Back on the road again direction “the Somail”. This charming little port on the edge of the Canal du Midi, invites you to take the time to live. Relaxation guaranteed on the terrace of the “Auberge du Somail”. Enjoy a delicous meal prepared with local products.

On the way back to Montolieu, you are invited in the Chai of “Chateau de Pennautier“, situated at 10km from Montolieu, for a wine tasting of 7 prestigious wine. The Chateau de Pennautier is one of the most renowned wineries in the area. During this tasting, you will cross the Cabardes, Minervois, Saint Chinian, Faugères and Côtes du Roussilon.

After this memorable day, you will enjoy a fabulous meal in a gastronomical restaurant “Ambrosia” in Pezens, located at only 5km from Montolieu.

Day 3

Breakfast and end of the program.
